From completion in 1930, The Chrysler Building has been one of the finest pieces of the New York skyline. But before that, it competed with nearby 40 Wall Street to become the tallest building in New York, and the world. Thus starting a long back and forth competition. Upon hearing of The Chrysler’s proposed height, 40 Wall Street would add floors and eventually declare itself The Tallest Building in the World. The title was short-lived, as the secretly constructed spire was placed atop The Chrysler. Though now no longer the tallest, its beauty and aura remain timeless.
Walk from your office to Grand Central Station through a devoted underground entrance. No matter the season, you can cross town, or further without giving a second thought to the weather.
